Bio

Karim spent more than 12 years with WPP Worldwide/J Walter Thompson in the United States, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, serving as Senior Partner of JWT New York, and as President of WPP Marketing Communications/JWT, Pakistan.  Post WPP, Karim founded Unicorn Consulting and successfully accomplished the first dual listing between Nasdaq USA and DIFX Dubai (Nasdaq Dubai) in 2008.

Karim has worked on marketing, communication, business development and strategy for over 80 multinational clients, including Pepsi, Shell, Levi Strauss, Unilever, Philips, Kodak, HSBC, Swiss Airlines, Aga Khan Development Network, LG, Syngenta, DeBeers, Knorr, Bata, BMW, Rolls Royce, Hyundai, Habib Bank Limited, Cadbury, Roshan Telecom, and Government Ministries.

Karim earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boston University and has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) since 2007.  He has also held various voluntary positions with the Aga Khan Development Network since the 1990s.
